Ukraine International Airlines is Ukraine’s leading
international airline.
Ukraine International Airlines’ (UIA) primary business is
providing passenger and cargo transportation. Over the years
since its creation UIA has satisfied all of the goals set out in
its Foundation documents: creating a high quality competitive
international Ukrainian airline; expanding and integrating
Ukraine’s aviation industry worldwide; introducing the best
technology and management methods; attracting foreign investment
and earning profits.
UIA offers more European direct services from Ukraine than any
other airline, operating 300 scheduled flights per week with
onward connections across the globe. Airline’s passenger traffic
is growing steadily by over 25% per annum. Ukraine International
cooperates with airlines worldwide on the basis of 126 interline
agreements. Through its partner network UIA serves over 3,000
destinations offering best same-day connections at competitive
prices. Today Ukraine International has more than 40
representative offices in Ukraine and abroad; the commercial
network covers 70 countries.
Its safety standards meet the highest international
requirements.
Safety is the absolute priority for UIA. Ukraine International
is the first airline in CIS that was registered in IOSA register
– the single international quality certificate issued by special
IATA program. This confirms the high level of the aviation
safety and fleet reliability of the airline. UIA’s Technical
Division performs full technical maintenance on western aircraft
types. According to Boeing’s statistics, UIA is the only airline
in the CIS that provides full technical maintenance for its own
fleet.
Today UIA is able to provide full technical maintenance not only
for its own fleet, but also for many other airlines. At Boryspil
International Airport UIA has performed and continues to perform
aircraft maintenance support services for: Belavia (Belarus);
Nordavia regional airlines, UTair and Atlant-Soyuz (Russia);
Yamal (Russia); Donavia (Russia); Georgian Airways (Georgia);
Adria Airways (Slovenia); GECAS (Ireland); Aerovista (UAE);
AeroSvit, UTair-Ukraine and Dniproavia (Ukraine); and many
others.
Ukraine International Airlines is fortunate in being able to
recruit excellent, well educated and experienced staff in all
categories.
Ukrainian Tourist Agencies’ Survey awarded UIA in two
nominations: “The best selling airline in Ukraine” and “The best
Ukrainian airline”. We are proud that UIA is chosen as an
official carrier of His Holiness Pope John Paul II when he
visited Ukraine.
